Relevance to professional work.

The programs build Japanese to a business level of communication, targeting JLPT N2–N1.

This directly supports roles that work with Japan, from client relationships to a transfer or assignment in the country.

At this level, a professional can

  • Hold meetings in Japanese
  • Follow and contribute to discussions with Japanese colleagues and clients
  • Read and write business email and documents
  • Use appropriate business register (keigo, 敬語)

Supports roles involving

  • Japanese clients, partners, or suppliers
  • A Japan office or Japanese-speaking team
  • A current or planned assignment in Japan
